When the Sedins retire at the end of the season, the Canucks will be in a unique position as they'll have to try and win without the twins for the first time since 1999/2000 season.

The Canucks will also need a new captain and assistant captain next season, and on Tuesday on TSN 1040, Trevor Linden (the President of the Canucks), offered up some names who could wear the 'C' next season.

A guy like Alexander Edler would make a ton of sense considering he's spent his entire career in Vancouver, but Bo Horvat seems like the right choice.

The 22-year-old (who turns 23 on Thursday) was drafted by the Canucks in 2013 and the fact that Linden is openly talking about him potentially being the next captain shows how highly the organization thinks of him.

Canucks fans seem to agree with Linden when it comes to his take on Horvat potentially wearing the 'C', too.
