In one week, the World Juniors officially begin in Buffalo on Boxing Day and we couldn't be more excited.

The final cuts have been and #Canada’s #WJC roster is set! Thoughts? 🇨🇦

Late last week, Canada finalized its roster for the tournament and one of the surprise cuts was Memorial Cup-winning goaltender Michael DiPietro.

Everyone expected he and Carter Hart to be the goalies selected, but Colton Point beat him out for the spot and even though Hart figures to be the lead goalie, we imagine Point will get work, too.

Tuesday at practice, the 19-year-old drafted by the Stars in 2016 showed off unreal gear he'll be wearing for the tournament.

Carey Price's pads from 2007 were the inspiration for Point's choice of pads and they look incredible.

Bauer didn't just make gear for Point to where in the tournament, though.  Russia's goalies will also be wearing Bauer gear along with the United States and Sweden.
