Wednesday night’s NHL Awards was an event to remember for multiple reasons. A young fan who lost his mother was given an a free trip to the All-Star Game, Robin Lehner gave a passionate speech about his struggle with mental health after winning the Bill Masterton Award, and Nikita Kucherov was named a Hart trophy winner for the first time. But… a couple of odd sights also managed to make some noise.

Connor McDavid didn’t manage to bring home any hardware this year, however, his style was the talk of the evening. Despite making a crisp $12.5 million/year (and let’s not forget the endorsement deals), McJesus rocked a hockey lace as a belt. It really was one of the stranger sights from the entire ceremony.

Name a bigger #HockeyGuy than Connor McDavid. We’ll wait!

Oh, and speaking of weird sights, how about Barry Trotz accepting the Jack Adams Trophy with a burger in his hand? What the heck was going on in Las Vegas last night?!

Okay, so the burger made a bit more sense, but still. WELCOME TO GOOD BURGER, HOME OF THE GOOD BURGER CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER PLEASE?!

To cap it all off, DJ Ill Phil appeared to do a little scratching when things started to cool down. What a night in the Sin City!
