DeMar DeRozan hasn’t forgotten about a certain trade that went down this past summer.

After committing to the Toronto Raptors with a multi-year contract, the Compton native was shipped out of town in a blockbuster all-star for all-star trade with the San Antonio Spurs involving Kawhi Leonard. Things aren’t all that bad when you consider DeMar will play for one of the most storied franchises, and storied coach next season, but he’s clearly still a bit salty about the whole thing based on his latest tweet. The 2018- All-Star simply said that “revenge is a dish best served cold.”

… Wonder who that one was directed toward?

DeMar wasn’t exactly quiet while the whole transaction went down either. He took to Instagram to express his frustration as the action unfolded.

With Kawhi’s future up in the air, this whole trade has potential to really boom, or really bust for Toronto. The Raps host the Spurs on February 22 in what will be an emotional return for one of the franchise’s all-time greats.
