DeMar DeRozan might not be a Raptor anymore, but he has nothing but respect for the fanbase.

The Compton native is adding to his already busy offseason by participating the infamous Drew League. At the game, and despite being traded less than a week ago, DeRozan was a good sport and decided to gift a Raptors fan wearing his jersey with a pair of his sneakers. He even stuck around to take a photo with him.

What a week it’s been for DeMar, who was traded out of what seemed like nowhere after serving as the heart and soul of his former club for nine years. After posting a series of cryptic messages on social media, DeRozan finally addressed the situation and thanked fans for all of their support throughout the years.

In Drew League, DeMar is still doing his thang on the court, this time getting things done with his former Raptor teammate Rudy Gay. The two combined for a whopping 60 points.

DeMar may be out of town, but a part of him will always include the city of Toronto. With legendary head coach Gregg Popovich now in charge of his game, basketball fans should only expect improvement from the All-Star in the coming years.
