The 2018-19 NBA season was a tough one for Miami Heat fans as their team missed out on the playoffs by two games and they had to say goodbye to Dwyane Wade.
With the Heat’s all-time leading scorer calling it a career after 16 seasons it’s time for a new era of Heat basketball to get underway in Miami. However, D-Wade had one last surprise in store for Heat employees as his trip down to the AmericanAirlines Arena was about more than just a routine locker cleanout.
The three-time NBA champion showed up to clean out his locker and didn’t leave the building until he signed autographs and posed for pictures with the employees who get the job done behind the scenes.
It just shows what type of person D-Wade truly is.
