The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, paid a visit to Norfolk this past weekend for a two-game series with the Edmonton Oilers’ ECHL affiliate the Norfolk Admirals. With the Admirals taking the first game 5-3 on Friday night, the Swamp Rabbits were looking for revenge on Saturday.

Greenville jumped out to a 1-0 lead 6:48 into the game. Nearly five minutes later the Admirals looked like they were going to tie the game as they put on pressure in the Swamp Rabbits’ zone, but goalie P.J. Musico came out of nowhere to take away a definite goal.

It doesn’t get much better than that. Musico looked more like a soccer goalie than a hockey goalie on that play, but whatever gets the job done is all that really matters in this situation.

The Swamp Rabbits ended up getting their payback on Saturday night, as they ended up beating the Admirals 5-3.
