With training camp just a few weeks out, NHL players are in full-on workout mode as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Here are BarDown, we’re big gear geeks, particularly with goaltenders, and if you’ve been following us in the recent weeks, you’ll have noticed we’ve shared a ton of new goalie gear that’s been released, from pads to masks.

So, it’s only right that we continue to highlight the latest sets as they continue to hit the internet. One of the top goalie gear companies is Brian's, and on their Instagram account they’ve released pictures and videos of some of their athletes in their newest setups, with most of their goalies using the Optik line instead of the GN3Tik or Sub-Zero sets.

Senators goaltender Craig Anderson, who wore the GN3Tik line in the past, will be rocking a new set white, red and black Optik pads.

Making the jump from the New York Rangers to the Arizona Coyotes, Antti Raanta released his Wild West themed Yotes mask, which features the coyote driving a locomotive train earlier this summer. Now, the time has come for his set of Optik pads to be showcased.

Making the jump over from Bauer to Brian's is Cam Ward. His Optik set appears to have a bit of a different design that differs from Raanta and Anderson’s sets, which is tailored more so to the Hurricanes logo.

The equipment company also released the pads of Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner – which feature a sick custom Sabres sword – and Aaron Dell of the San Jose Sharks, although both ‘tendies are absent from the photos.

Stay tuned for more sets from not only Brians, but other companies as well, as well continue to roll out the new sets as they come available.
