The New Jersey Devils are flying high like a bat outta hell having won three in a row and six of their last ten games. After landing the top pick in the 2017 NHL Draft following a disappointing 2016-17 season, the Devils have improved in nearly every way and currently find themselves just one point back of the Capitals for the top spot in the Metropolitan division.

Thursday, the Devils got a huge win in a shootout over the Rangers in a game that seesawed back and forth from the very first minute to the last. One moment that perfectly exemplified the back and forth nature of the game was a second period goal by rookie Nico Hischier that would've given the Devils the lead, but was ultimately called off. The goal may not have stood, but what Devils fans got out of it (what we all got out of it) was an awesome picture of the exact moment Hischier and Taylor Hall both realized the goal was called off.

All was well, though, as the Devils still got the W, and we all received a second gift from Hall in the form of his fantastic reaction to watching a Ric Flair pump-up montage. Look out for those Devils, folks...
