Sports franchises are always getting creative and coming up with all sorts of different alternate jerseys for special theme nights. From pop culture to food, we’ve seen teams dedicate their jerseys to all sorts of different things over the years and they’re still coming up with new ideas.

Earlier this week, Deutsche Eishockey Liga team Adler Mannheim turned to some young fans for the design of their warm-up jerseys and they got a bunch of different options out of it.

The team selected 31 different jersey designs out of 160 different selections from fans age 3-11, and are going to get the players to sign the jerseys for the kids who designed each specific warm-up jersey.

It’s definitely a cool way to get the fans engaged and involved in the team, and watching one of their favourite players take to the ice in a jersey they designed is a moment they’ll never forget.
