Sports are wonderful for so many reasons other than just the pure joy and happiness of playing them.

For people of any age, sports, especially a team sport like hockey, teaches many important life skills like leadership, teamwork and dedication among other things.

That being said, sometimes hockey dads just want to put their kids in hockey to live vicariously through them.

In the latest edition of BarDown Toonz, cartoonist Pengellyink perfectly depicts a back and fourth exchange between a father and son about hockey.
