IndyCar Series driver James Hinchcliffe spends a majority of his time in Indianapolis, but the Oakville, Ontario native still cheers for and supports the teams he grew up watching. One of those teams happens to be the Toronto Raptors and he wants to do his part to help keep Kawhi Leonard in town for as long as possible.

From free food to free condos, plenty of businesses throughout Toronto and the GTA are trying to play a role in influencing Leonard to re-sign with the Raptors at the end of the season, and now there’s another offer on the table courtesy of the Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver.

In a recent interview with NBC Sports’ Bruce Martin, the 32-year-old showed Leonard plenty of love and credit for helping the Raptors make it to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history and offered to dedicate a spot on his helmet and more if he re-signs.

“A lot of people are trying to keep Kawhi with the Raps. There are restaurants in Toronto promising free food for life. Free services here, there, wherever,” Hinchcliffe told Martin.

“I was going to offer that I’ll put a picture on my helmet and offer  him two free passes to any IndyCar race I’m competing in for the rest of my career if he stays put.”

We’re guessing the list of offers is only going to grow leading up to Kawhi’s decision.
