We here at BarDown are big fans of any retro or throwback logos and uniforms, so it should come to no surprise that you see us doing articles whenever we stumble across a piece of history that's now been modernized.

Last week, we featured some of our favourite old school logos, and to no surprise, the Hartford Whalers made an appearance.

The Whalers were relocated to the Carolina Hurricanes ahead of the 1997-98 season. One of the top players to play for the two franchises is TSN's own Jeff O'Neill.

With the summer weather out in full force, the "O-dog" is in full-time summer mode enjoying his time away from the studios and rinks. O'Neill posted on his Instagram a customized Hartford Whalers paddleboard that is one of the most unique piece of Whalers merchandise you'll ever come across.

Now we just have to photoshop the O-Dog riding it.

O'Neill only played two seasons in Hartford when he was just 19 and 20 before making the jump to Carolina where he notched four straight 20 goal seasons, including his career high of 41 back in the 2000-01 season.
