Joe Thornton has been a hit everywhere he has played and that includes HC Davos.

Thornton has had three different stints with the Swiss hockey team, with his last one coming last October when the NHL season was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jumbo Joe is once again an unrestricted free agent and at the age of 42 he decided to head back overseas once again to suit up with his former club.

The season doesn’t start until next month, but perhaps Thornton will consider playing a 4th stint with HC Davos if he can’t strike a deal with any NHL club for the 2021-22 campaign.

Jumbo Joe has played 85 games with Davos and has 27 goals, 77 assists and 104 career points to his name.
