It doesn’t matter if things are going great or they’re at an all-time low, Joel Embiid is never going to shy away from expressing his true feelings and sharing his thoughts.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA as of late as they wrapped up the regular season on a 16-game winning streak and opened up the postseason with a massive 130-103 victory over the Miami Heat. However, the good times stopped rolling on Monday night as the Sixers dropped their first game since March 13, in a 113-103 loss to the Heat and following the game Embiid was very vocal on his Instagram account about not getting the chance to play.

There wasn’t much to the photo, except a black background and the following caption.

‘F*cking Sick And Tired Of Being Babied’

The 24-year-old posted this on his Instagram story almost immediately after the final buzzer went off in Philadelphia, as he clearly does not agree with the way the 76ers franchise has been treating him over the past two seasons.

Following the game Sixers head coach Brett Brown explained how the team really needed him tonight and wished they had him in the lineup.

Shortly after, he was asked about Embiid’s post, to which he responded with this.

It’s no secret that the Sixers can use their top scorer and rebounder in their opening round series against the Heat, so perhaps we’ll see a new lineup take the court for the Sixers in Game 3 on Thursday night.
