Former NHL enforcer John Scott was the talk at least year’s NHL All-Star Game. Not only did he go through and participate in the event after he was voted in, but he ended up winning the MVP. However, after all of that went down the NHL wanted to make sure that never happens again in the future, so they implemented the “John Scott Rule”.

On Friday, the NHL released its Greatest 100 Players list. As you can probably guess, Scott did not make the list, but figured he would show up anyways (he didn’t actually show up) just in case they changed their mind like they did with last year’s All-Star Game.

We worked with pengellyink to create a comic of what Scott’s interaction with the NHL was like when he showed up for the Greatest 100 Players ceremony.

Rumour has it last season's NHL All-Star Game hero showed up to this weekend's festivities...

After all the hype that surrounded him last season, you would think that he would have made the Greatest 100 Players list. It was fun while it lasted, and at least he can tell his kids that he has a rule in the NHL named after him.
