Johnny Manziel will always be one of the most polarizing names in football because of what he did in college and what happened during his brief NFL career.

The 25-year-old became one of the the biggest names in football as a freshman at Texas A&M, but his NFL career in Cleveland was short-lived due to the many off-field issues.

Right now, though, it's #ComebackSZN and Manziel is working through his past in order to get back to the NFL.  In order to get back to the NFL, though, Manziel's first stop might have to be north of the border in the CFL.

#Manziel has given #Hamilton a deadline to sign him. Will he end up with the #Ticats? 🤔

Manziel and the Ticats still haven't come to terms on a deal, but neither side has shut the door on negotiations and fans are anxiously waiting for a deal to be agreed upon.

On the most recent episode of Barstool Sports' 'Pardon My Take' Podcast, Manziel was asked if the CFL is still on the table and this was his response:

"Yeah, it's definitely still on the table.  I feel like, as with anything, it takes a little bit of time.  The season just ended for the NFL.  The CFL ended a couple months before, but just taking some time and not rushing into anything and making sure that everything is the right fit, I feel like that's the biggest thing that's going on right now."

If you're a CFL fan that wants to see Manziel play for Hamilton, it's nice to know he's still interested in starting his #ComebackSZN north of the border.

Manziel also touched on a number of subjects on the 'Pardon My Take' Podcast including his friendship with LeBron and Drake, why he doesn't like the NCAA, Josh McCown taking him under his wing in Cleveland, and most importantly if he thinks he'll be on the football field this year.
