You know that famous Canadian rapper from Toronto that constantly represents for the Raptors? He’s a fixture at the games, and you could say that’s he something of an ambassador for the city. That’s right: We’re talking about Kardinal Offishall.

Before Drake ever arrived on the scene, Kardinal Offishall was basically synonymous with Toronto hip-hop, and he’s never been shy about his pride for the city. To celebrate the Raptors in the Finals, he remixed a Toronto classic, “The Anthem,” in partnership with ESPN’s The Undefeated.

Does it bang? Oh, it bangs.

This song really kicks into high gear when Offishall starts shouting out specific players, all the way down to Danny Green and Marc Gasol, as well as those fans in Jurassic Park. That’s how you know he’s for real. He loves where he’s from.

While Drake’s sideline antics have been a major topic of conversation throughout the playoffs, it was Kardinal Offishall who came through for Game 1 of the Finals with a live performance.
