Kawhi Leonard is a man of few words, but sometimes he needs to say a few more based on the fact that he’s so darn good when it comes to performing in the spotlight.

That, strangely, wasn’t the case on Saturday. Kawhi led the Toronto Raptors to a 108-95 win over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1 of their Round 2 matchup. When we say we led the way, we mean he did so in style by scoring 45 points, a playoff career-high.

So how’d the post-game interview go or a guy that doesn’t seem to like speaking to the media? Well, we can hardly tell you. It lasted all of about 15 seconds.

Do you think Kawhi was bummed about that? Not a chance, more like he was let off the hook. It’s hard not to smile when you see the smile creep over his face as he’s walking away, surprised.

Hopefully for the Raptors the smiles keep coming, it likely means they’re getting closer to a franchise-first Championship if so.
