Khalil Mack, a Pro Bowl defensive end last season and the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2016, was traded to the Chicago Bears on Saturday after the Oakland Raiders elected against meeting Mack’s contract demands.

The Raiders were able to procure a respectable haul in return, which included two first-round picks as well as a third-rounder, but for the most part, their fans had a negative reaction to the trade while Bears fans were feeling more excitable.

Shall we check in on Mack’s old Raiders teammates?

Replacing Mack on the depth chart will be a set of rookies, as Arden Key looks likely to start and P.J. Hall also moves a step up behind him. How are they feeling about this opportunity?

Still, we’re not sure if anyone can top Bruce Irvin’s reaction, which is (warning!) NSFW.

It didn’t take long for the Bears to pay Mack what the Raiders wouldn’t. After signing a six-year, $141 million extension, Mack has become the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history... and everybody had the same Aaron Donald jokes.
