Kyle Lowry and Kawhi Leonard shared a special moment with the MVP Trophy

Kawhi Leonard is once again on top of the basketball world, winning his second career Finals MVP following the Toronto Raptors first ever NBA Title.

He didn’t do it alone though, and he’d be the first to tell you that.

One of his loyal teammates that he couldn’t have done it without was undoubtedly the heart and soul of the Raptors roster – Kyle Lowry. The bulldog has been with the Raps for what seems like forever, and it will warm the heart of any Toronto fan to see him finally lift the trophy.

We also got a little surprise look of Lowry with the MVP Trophy, and it was during a special moment he shared with the MVP himself.

With many questions coming following Kyle Lowry’s best friend being dealt away, it’s clear that he’s made a new friend since. The interaction between the two, highlighted by Kawhi telling Kyle “he deserves it”, is genuine and pure.

He stay? It’s never been more likely than right now.
