Kyler Murray was selected ninth overall by the Oakland Athletics in the 2018 MLB Draft but he decided to return to the University of Oklahoma for one more year to play out the season as the football team’s starting quarterback.

On Saturday afternoon, Murray and the Sooners opened up the season against the Florida Atlantic Owls and he didn’t waste any time showing off his incredible skills. In the opening quarter of action, Murray appeared to be in a little bit of trouble. However, that’s when he turned on the jets and busted out a few moves for the most impressive 15-yard gain you might ever see.

Murray went on to avoid five tackles before he managed to move the chains for his squad with his flashy first down run. The 21-year-old also got the job done plenty of times through the air as he showed everyone why the Athletics took him so early in the draft with a massive 65-yard bomb to Hollywood Brown.

The junior quarterback completed nine of 11 pass attempts for 209 yards and two touchdowns and added 23 yards on four carries.
