The Los Angeles Kings are currently in the middle of their Eastern Canadian road trip as they prepare to play the Ottawa Senators in the Nation’s Capital on Saturday afternoon.

While they don’t have any Ottawa natives on their roster, they do have someone who is extremely familiar with the city is defenceman Dion Phaneuf, who spent time with the Sens from 2016-2018. With plenty of time to spare on Friday, members of the Kings paid a visit to the University of Ottawa to work on their field goals.

The guys didn’t seem to have much luck as they found out kicking field goals is tougher than it looks, except for Oscar Fantenberg, who nailed the kick with ease.

Following the workout at the University of Ottawa campus, Drew Doughty ended up running into his doppelgänger, University of Ottawa hockey player Kevin Domingue.

The Kings will play the Senators on Saturday afternoon, before wrapping up their road trip on Monday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
