You knew it was only a matter of time before LaVar Ball was going to pop off on LeBron James. The man that once said he could beat Michael Jordan 1-on-1 has now shifted his target towards another basketball legend.

In an interview with the folks at Fanatics View, LaVar, who’s not a stranger whatsoever to making ridiculous claims, said that in his heyday, LeBron was “too weak” to take on the owner of Big Baller Brand.

“Back in my heyday can’t nobody hold me, 270 benching 500. All they gotta do is back you in, I’ll lift all of them up off they feet.”

Is there any video evidence of this claim? Why of course there isn’t, Lavar.

“Don’t need no videos, it’s all up here,” Ball said pointing to his brain. “You want to come see me back in my heyday? I was a bad mamajama. I’m going to let you know. My will to win was too hard man. Man, 1-on-1 I’d be on myself all day.”

That’s one confident man.

Let’s be honest here: this is LaVar just talking out of his behind, which he really excels at. If LeBron ever wanted to play papa Ball in a game of pick up LeBron would absolutely dust him. Not even Michael’s secret stuff would help out LaVar.

Also, you’d think LaVar would consider zipping his mouth since his oldest son, Lonzo is now a teammate of King James. Given his power, he could easily have LaVar removed from his vicinity at any time, although the chance of LeBron actually giving a crap about LaVar is slim.

We should give LaVar a little bit of credit here, as he did call LeBron signing with the Lakers. He’s also claimed that the Lakers would win multiple titles if LeBron signed.

Watch out, LaVar, there’s a reason why they call him King James.
