Let the LeBron-Hollywood festivities begin!

It’s been what, a few months since LeBron became an LA Laker? The guy has already adjusted to Cali life, partaking in his own television show “The Show” and building bonds with his new teammates. His next project could turn out to be his biggest to date, and reportedly involves Philadelphia 76ers Ben Simmons. According to Nelie Andreeva of Deadline Hollywood, James’ production company ‘Springhill Entertainment has sold a script to NBC for a sitcom based on Simmons’ life.

The following is an excerpt from UPROXX:

Written by Kang’s brother, Patrick Kang, and Michael Levin, Brotherly Love is inspired by the life of Ben Simmons and centers on a unique sibling relationship within a multi-ethnic family. Together, they pursue their dreams while navigating life in the spotlight in Philadelphia, a passionate city where sports is in your blood, and your blood is always boiling.

Okay, so LeBron didn’t choose Philadelphia to be his new home in the league. But at least this kind of makes up for it?

LeBron recently took part in another Hollywood film, lending his voice in the animated film Smallfoot that’s set to hit theatres on September 28. Make sure you listen extra closely to the character Gwangi!

James recently reached a deal to be featured in the next Space Jam movie, so the city of LA should probably start getting used to seeing him both on, and off the court.
