It’s going to take a heck of a lot to prevent LeBron James from being out on the court in the NBA Finals.

‘The King’ logged in mega minutes in the Cavs’ Eastern Conference series against the Boston Celtics and was captured on numerous occasions looking out of gas. Still, he managed to fight through the fatigue and lead his team to the big dance.

This guy plain and simply wants to win.

LeBron was all business in Game 1, torching the Golden State Warriors for 51 points in a heartbreaking 124-114 overtime loss. The defeat came with plenty of controversy, as J.R. Smith made the puzzling decision to run a rebound out to 3-point range as time in regulation expired. But another point of controversy came when Warriors forward Draymond Green poked James directly in the eye. A few days later and the eye is still in some rough shake. Photos before the game revealed that James’ eye is still extremely red.

Here’s what it looked like moments after it happened.

Not the prettiest of sights.

Green was consequentially awarded a technical foul after he complained about the initial call. Don’t really know what the guy was thinking.

Determined as ever, expect LeBron to put up some more magic in Game 2.

Bloodied eye and all.
