We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, you see something new every single time you make a trip to the ballpark.

On Tuesday night the Lakeland Flying Tigers and the Jupiter Hammerheads went up against each other in Class A-Advanced action and the Flying Tigers opened the scoring in the most bizarre way possible. In the bottom of the third inning, Reece Hampton decided to lay down a bunt and ended up with a home run.

Hampton turned on the jets as soon as he connected with the ball and got some help from his opponents, so he made sure to keep on going until he rounded all the bases.

It was the first run of the game and the eventual game-winning run as the Flying Tigers blanked the Hammerheads, 2-0.
