Shooter McGavin might just be the greatest and most loved villain in the history of sports movies.
Christopher McDonald perfectly played the role of Adam Sandlerβs rival in Happy Gilmore and to the point where thereβs actually a parody Twitter account in honour of his character, Shooter McGavin.
On Friday night, the Fort Myers Miracle hosted a Happy Gilmore Night at the ballpark for their game against the Lakeland Flying Tigers and McDonald was the special guest in attendance for the night.
The players, and even the mascot, were pretty pumped about having the man known as Shooter McGavin in attendance and some of them even got a photo with the actor, posing with his famous handguns from the movie.
