Gerardo Parra had an inspired idea on Tuesday. On an otherwise dull day across most of sports, he decided to use ‘Baby Shark’ as his walk-up song while pinch hitting for the Nationals, and they LOVED it at Nationals Park.
He had the entire ballpark, from his teammates to the fans even to the Jumbotron, doing the Baby Shark dance. Could you call it a... jaw-dropping scene?
Is Baby Shark still a thing? Until recently, it had been a long minute since a Baby Shark post on this site, and it may be passé now. There are always newer memes.
It's a good thing that we have athletes like Parra and Tomas Hertl bringing Baby Shark back into the culture!
