We can’t help but think about how Bryce Harper feels right now with the Washington Nationals heading to the World Series for the first time in franchise history after sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals.

Before the season even started just about every baseball fan and analyst counted out the Nats this season due to the fact that Bryce Harper left them in the offseason to join the Philadelphia Phillies, but fast forward to just over seven months after the Harper signing and the Nationals are the first team to book a ticket to the 2019 World Series.

During Harper’s seven seasons with the Nationals the team won just seven playoff games. This postseason alone they’ve already won seven games and there’s a chance they can win four more.

The Nationals will play whoever comes out on top of the ALCS between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros.
