Adopting puppies to train as future service dogs is starting to become a trend across the NHL and it’s definitely one we’re all for and hoping every team gets on board.

NHL teams aren’t the only ones getting involved in the trend, though.

The Newfoundland Growlers, the ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, just started playing this season but they already have one of the best logos in sports and they’ve got an adorable dog named Pooh to match.

Pooh got his first taste of the ice on Monday following the team’s practice and he looked like a natural right from the get go.

Turns out Pooh is a double threat, as he also knows how to get the job done off the ice in the front office.

Getting to play hockey for a living is already a dream come true in itself but getting to play hockey and then getting to play with dogs sounds like paradise.
