Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin needed to get one more keg stand out of the way before saying goodbye to the Stanley Cup.

Ovi took the trophy back to Russia and shared his experience with teammates, family, and pretty much anyone who wanted to get in on the action in the city of Moscow. At an event with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Dmitri Orlov by his side, Ovechkin got his friends to lift his legs up in the air as he dipped his face into the Cup.

Summer of Ovi continues

This one was a bit cleaner than the first time he gave a keg stand from the top a shot. While rocking a Washington Nationals jersey, the captain basically submerged his entire face in beer before having it pulled away.

Even Jimmy Fallon got in on the action!

Ovechkin’s time with the cup came to an unfortunate end earlier today, as he passed it on to teammate Michal Kempny. Regardless of what else happens in the coming months, this stage in history will always be remembered as the “summer of Ovi”.

What a legend.
