The New England Patriots hosted the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football and the two teams combined for 83 points in one of the most exciting games of the NFL season to date.
One of the nicest scores of the night came late in the fourth quarter when Patrick Mahomes connected with Tyreek Hill for a massive 75-yard touchdown and Hill’s third score of the night. However, what came almost immediately after the touchdown was an extremely disrespectful move by a few Patriots fans.
Multiple Patriots fans shouted at Hill as he ran right up to the stands, while a few of them flipped him off and another one poured their beer on him. Well, the person who poured their overpriced beer is certainly regretting their decision on Monday morning as the Patriots have released a statement banning him from all future events at Gillette Stadium.
We understand that some fans are more passionate than others, but there’s never a time or place for a fan to throw something at an athlete, especially when they’re less than a foot away from them.
