The Indiana Pacers selected Paul George 10th overall in the 2010 NBA Draft and he was the face of the franchise for a majority of the time he was with the team. Once news broke that George wanted out of Indiana, the 2013 NBA Most Improved Player faced a lot of criticism for wanting to move on.

On Monday afternoon, the Pacers announced that they would be declining Lance Stephenson’s $4.3 million option next season and the five-time NBA All-Star was quick to take a shot at his former team.

George posted a screenshot of a Bleacher Report article of the Stephenson report and included the following caption.

“Wow and I was the bad guy huh?! In this business you do what’s right for YOU! #PacerLegend”

The 2016 Olympic gold medalist was quickly portrayed as a villain once he left the Pacers as it became pretty clear they weren’t going to be able to offer him the money he feels he deserves and now he’s making it clear it was all just a business decision.
