The Los Angeles Rams are off to the Super Bowl, thanks to a pair of field goals from Greg Zuerlein against the New Orleans Saints — one to tie late in regulation, and then a 57-yard bomb to win in overtime. However, the referees were also a factor in their result, and the NFL acknowledged after the game that a crucial pass interference no-call was “messed up” by the referees.

Todd Gurley is making sure to thank the referees, too. Shortly after the game, he posted an edited image which mocks a jersey swap between himself and a referee.

While Gurley and the Rams can count their lucky stars as they move on to the Super Bowl, the no-call is sure to live on in the minds of the Saints for some time. Had the play been flagged for PI, the Saints would’ve been inside the 10-yard line with 1:45 remaining. Instead, they had to settle for a field goal, which, of course, the Rams were able to tie to force OT.

Things worked out in the Rams’ favor, but that isn’t going to stop Gurley from getting his jokes off.
