The Toronto Raptors squeezed out an overtime win over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night and it had a lot of Raptors fans excited about the possibilities that lie ahead in the near future.
With it being the Raptors’ first win over the Warriors in more than four years, fans were pretty ecstatic following the victory, especially Drake who went home with a special souvenir from the game courtesy of Kevin Durant.
It appears that Kevin Durant and Drake made a friendly bet ahead of the game that would send the Toronto rapper home with Durant’s game-worn jersey from the game if the Raptors won or KD packing with Drake’s jacket and, well, the rest is history.
Not only did Drake get to watch the Raptors defeat the Warriors in one of the most entertaining games from the NBA season but he also got to keep Durant’s jersey from his jaw-dropping 51-point performance.
