The great (or worst depending on if you're a reporter or not) thing about live television is anything can happen and sometimes things make it to air that have no business making it because it happened live.

In sports, these moments tend to occur when a reporter is live at a place filled with fans watching a big game.  If those fans are cheering for the losing team and they've had a few drinks, chances are they might be a little upset.

This England fan, for example, was upset on Wednesday in the closing moments of England's loss to Croatia in the semi-finals of the World Cup and threw a beer in the face of  Newshub Europe correspondent Lloyd Burr.

Most people would be thrown off by getting a beer tossed in their face, but Burr carried on like an absolute champion.

The natural reaction for a lot of people if they had been in Burr's situation would probably have been very, very different.  Like go after the guy that just threw beer in my face different.

Burr, however, kept doing his job until his colleagues got the cameras to cut away from him and after the incident, Burr laughed it off on Twitter.
