On Thursday night, the Saint John Sea Dogs and the Charlottetown Islanders added special Gord Downie tribute decals to their helmets for their game in honour of The Tragically Hip’s late front man.

On top of the helmet decals, coaches from both teams will be wearing grey ribbons in honour of Downie.

Gord Downie influenced a lot of people over the years and it has really shown over the past 48 hours.
