It didn’t take Luka Doncic very long to make a name for himself in the NBA and all he’s done year after year over his first three seasons is get better every season.
On Sunday, Doncic put together a monstrous performance, only this time it was for his native Slovenia and not the Dallas Mavericks, and it was one of the most meaningful performances of his career.
Doncic scored 31 points and added 13 assists and 11 rebounds in Slovenia’s 96-85 win over Lithuania and the victory officially clinched his country a spot in the upcoming Olympics for the first time in the nation’s history.
Nothing screams ‘superstar’ like dropping a triple-double in a game that decides who’s going to the Olympics.
