Mistakes happen, and people aren’t perfect. We get that.

But there are some mistakes that are completely tougher to make than others.

Such is the case in New York City this evening, where the 2K Empire Classic is taking place at Madison Square Gardens. Syracuse tipped off against UConn, and while the Orange obviously had the game on their mind, there was one alarming error made that fans just couldn’t ignore.

Buddy Boeheim, son of legendary Syracuse Men’s Basketball Coach, Jim Boeheim, who has basically dedicated his entire life to the program and has held the position for 42 years, had his last name printed wrong on the back of his jersey.

Yikes.

Fans were quick to notice the massive error, and didn’t hold back on Twitter when they spotted it.

We all have rough days at work, and we wish whoever made this typo the best of luck.

Happens to the best of us.
