It’s been just over one week since Malcolm McCormick, better known as Mac Miller, passed away and his fans are still trying  to find ways to deal with the shocking loss by paying tribute to the late Pittsburgh rapper in various different ways.

Since the NFL is finally allowing players to show their personality through their game cleats, Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner is using his cleats for his team’s Week 2 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs to honour Mac Miller.

Conner took to social media on Saturday afternoon to share the images of his custom cleats he’ll be wearing for the Steelers’ 2018 home opener with the following caption.

The 23-year-old running back went off in his first career NFL start as he compiled 135 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 31 attempts and also hauled in five passes for 57 yards in the Steelers’ Week 1 tie against the Cleveland Browns.
