Earlier this month, millions of residents from the Carolinas were forced to evacuate their hometowns as Hurricane Florence powered through the area. While they may be out of the line of fire of Hurricane Florence, a lot of the counties were destroyed by the storm and hundreds of thousands of residents are doing whatever they can to start building the communities back up.

As a way to help those affected by the hurricane, Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall and Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul have teamed up to help raise money for the Hurricane Florence relief efforts.

All three NBA point guards are natives of the Carolinas, so it was a pretty easy thing for them to come together on.

The three superstars are raising money for the community through the Edward Charles Foundation and they’ve already raised more than $50,000 towards the cause in just a few hours. They have a goal set for $500,000 at the moment, but considering they’ve already raised 10% of the total goal they’re well on their way to going over the $500,000 goal.
