This past weekend, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marcus Stroman shared his thoughts on not being selected to this year’s MLB All-Star Game.

A lot of people were shocked when the full rosters were released and they didn’t see Stroman’s name on it, including Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Steven Souza Jr., who shared his thoughts on Twitter on Sunday night.

Stroman appreciated the tweet from his division rival and responded with a tweet of his own.

One fan tried telling Souza why he thought Stroman didn’t deserve a spot, but the Rays outfielder was quick to respond.

Fans are never going to agree with the final All-Star rosters, but Stroman has been more successful this year than some of this year’s All-Stars while playing on a team that’s been under .500 all year long.
