The Montreal Canadiens have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL as of late as they’ve won their last two games and six of their last 10, and they sit just three points back of top spot in the Atlantic Division through the first 18 games of the year.

Since the Habs don’t play again until Friday night, the players had some free time on Wednesday and they put it to good use as they paid a visit to the Dawson Boys & Girls Club to play ball hockey with the “Know Better Play Better” youth.

As soon as the guys walked through the door the kids got extremely pumped up, and rightfully so, as they realized they were about to play hockey with some of their heroes.

It’s always awesome to see players go out into the community and spend their free time with the local youth and the fans who dedicate so much of their time and energy to the team because it makes for memories that will last forever.

Awesome stuff.
