Every year, hockey fans look forward to the Carolina Hurricanes celebrating Whalers day as a tribute to their team's roots.
The jerseys are one of the most universally loved all through the game, but this year, they’ve been given a little makeover for the NHL’s Reverse Retro campaign.
The Canes are debuting the grey version of their Whalers jerseys for their game against Chicago, and though we know a lot of fans don’t love that they altered such a beloved jersey, we think they’re pretty sharp.
