Hockey fans don’t agree on a lot of things.

In fact, it’s more rare that they agree upon anything at all.

But if there’s one team that all hockey lovers can collectively agree to be fans of, it’s definitely the Mighty Ducks

Today, the Vancouver Canucks confirmed this theory, when they met up with the original Mighty Ducks Gang ahead of their game against the Anaheim Ducks tonight.

The two teams were exchanging pleasantries, when Averman of the Mighty Ducks, (who, as an aside, hasn’t aged at all since the movies were filmed), skated in to provide the mighty Canucks with some key offensive advice.

“If you’re up three goals, you can do the Flying V. That’s the rule”, instructed the Duck, who was donning his signature glasses.

The Mighty Ducks are in the building to celebrate Ducks Night at the Honda Center, and they decided to show the Canucks how to properly execute the Flying V after telling them to try it out.

This isn’t the first time this season that the OG Ducks met with the NHL Ducks, and they’ve been spotted in Anaheim a couple of times this year.

While we aren’t rooting for any specific team headed into this game, our money is definitely on whoever decided to implement the Flying V.
