The Capitals have been done partying together with the Stanley Cup for a little while, but the party hasn't stopped as players have been celebrating the championship victory with their family and friends.

Capitals video coach Brett Leonhardt recently had the Cup and he brought it back to New Hamburg where he decided to make a giant margarita in Lord Stanley's Mug.

What made the moment even better was that Leonhardt's 95-year-old grandfather who's a WWll veteran got to drink some of the margarita from the Cup.

Brett also made sure to drink from the Cup during his time with it, as well as share it with his community.

Thrilled Brett was able to share the Stanley Cup at home w/ everyone! I put together this video of his day with the Cup to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our friends and family who traveled near and far to share in the celebrations. (Def scroll through w/ sound! I had to splice the 1 video into 8 seperate segments so it would all fit here! Apologies in advance as it squished the frames so many pics seem close or cropped!) Thank you @jeffgerberpresents, @jstew_77 and @mauser11 we could not have done this without you! Many thanks to @oakwoodresort_ for taking care of our friends/family and helping to organize our surprise visit w/ “Princess Hayden” and her family. A day we will cherish forever! Xo 🏆😘✨ . . . . . #oakwoodresort #gables #grandbend #stjosephs #huroncounty #waterlooontario #canada #brettleonhardt #summerofstanley #stanleycup #ALLCAPS
