What a time to be associated with the Vegas Golden Knights.

In their inaugural season, the Golden Knights have shattered expansion records en route to a record that has them in first place in the Western Conference and one point back of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Presidents' Trophy race.

Sunday, Vegas won in Washington and on Monday, the team accomplished another first as they announced their first bobblehead in team history.

Before the Golden Knights made the announcement, fans weighed in on who they felt deserved to have the first bobblehead in team history and Marc-Andre Fleury won the popular vote by a landslide.

Vegas threw a curveball at their fans, though, when they announced who the first bobblehead in team history would go to.

Chance isn't a bad choice at all.  The Golden Knights' mascot was number one in this past week's edition of the BarDown Mascot Power Rankings.

Even though fans wanted the first bobblehead to be Fleury, they weren't mad when the announcement was made so it's all good in the world of the Golden Knights.

On Tuesday, the Golden Knights will knock off another first as they face the Penguins in Pittsburgh for the first time and Fleury will face his former team in Pittsburgh for the first time.
