The NBA Finals may be getting heated, but Canadians are staying true to form.

Sure, there’s been some occasional trash talking (who are we kidding, it’s been all Drake) but for the most part, us folk North of the border have been keeping our behavior relatively in check. If you need any proof just take a look at Raptors Square, where countless fans were rocking polite fans without really crossing any lines. No expletives, no personal chirps. Just some nice friendly, harmless jokes that managed to give those watching in Jurassic Park a good laugh!

We know you don’t drink beer with a straw Steph but Steve, you really do look like a TV dad and should probably audition for the dad role in the next Full House remake that will probably be made in 10 years.

Okay so we need to admit that this wasn’t the first round of polite Canadian signs at the Square. They were out for Game 1 as well and wow, they were fire. Honestly, who even eats yellow Starburst? Red is clearly better.

Canadian chirps? 😂 Drop your best Canadian chirp 🇨🇦👇

There have been some Canadian moments going on with fans in the Square, but the players have also gotten in on the action. Raptors players were literally chugging maple syrup during media day with Guillermo. Well, only one was. Turns out OG was allergic and had to give the thumbs down.

Norm Powell just did a shot of Maple Syrup with Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live 😂

We’re sure some more Canadian chants, signs, and moments will take place down at the Square as the series progresses. O’Canada!
