The Toronto Raptors will probably play the entire 2020-21 season south of the border, so they’ve got to make Tampa Bay feel like home as much as they can.
On Friday night, the Raptors played their first "home" game of the preseason and we happened to notice that they brought a championship banner along with them for the stay.
It was mentioned on the broadcast shortly after that it isn’t the actual NBA champions banner, as that’s still up in the rafters back at home in Toronto, but it’s still a nice touch to their temporary home - even if it is sitting beside a couple of Tampa Bay Lightning banners.
Might as well get as comfortable as possible because it’s going be a lengthy stay.
